The membership of S.K.I.N is recognition of the high standards of your professional attainments and your commitment to the causes and furtherance of professionalism in the management and development of human resources. It gives you a chance to establish valuable contacts with fellow members, exchange ideas and information, and represent issues of common concern at local and national forums.

You are entitled to a wide range of services and development activities directed towards enhancement of your professional skills. You are also entitled, as a member of S.K.I.N to

Attend and participate in the meetings, discussions, lectures, film shows and such other programmes which are organised by the institute or its chapters

Participate at concessional rates in the Management Training and Development Programmes organised by S.K.I.N or its Regions and Chapters

Use Information Centre at S.K.I.N Office.

MEMBERSHIP

Admission Fee

An admission fee of Rs.100/- per member or such other sum as may be fixed by the General Body from time to time shall be collected from each member as admission fee.

Eligibility

The membership of the Association shall be of six categories, viz.

Patron Membership:

Any corporate body or an individual contributing an amount as decided by the Governing Body from time to time and for the present  / time being  Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) and above can, at the discretion of the Governing Body, be enrolled as a Patron of S.K.I.N.

Patron members shall neither have voting rights nor the right to propose or second any person for any post or hold any office of the Association.

Professional Membership:

A Professional pursuing a career in HR/ IR / L&D any other allied field in HR. can enroll himself / herself for professional membership on payment of a yearly subscription of (an amount as decided by the Governing Body from time to time) and for the present Rs.500/- per annum (Rupees Five Hundred Only) . The membership fee collection will be made in the month of January every year.

Student Membership:

An individual who is undergoing a recognized course, either for a degree or diploma, in human resource management or industrial relations or labour welfare, may be admitted and who has completed Eighteen years of age will be eligible for student membership. The institutions sponsoring the students for membership, shall contribute an annual fee, an amount as decided by the Governing Body from time to time and for the present Rs250/ per student per annum. The membership fee collection will be made in the month of April every year.

Student members shall neither have voting rights nor the right to propose or second any person for any post or hold any office of the Association.

Honorary membership:

The Governing Body may admit a person, who in their judgment will support the cause of S.K.I.N as Honorary member. The proposal for honorary membership should be made by two Professional Members of S.K.I.N.

Honorary members shall neither have voting rights nor the right to propose or second any person for any post or hold any office of the Association.

Institutional membership:

An institution / corporate willing to enroll itself as a member of S.K.I.N or a person / a body enrolling themselves to render professional services to impart education and training on behalf of S.K.I.N, can at the discretion of the Governing Body, be enrolled for institutional membership of  S.K.I.N on payment of, an amount as decided by the Governing Body from time to time and for the Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) per year. The membership fee collection will be made in the month of January every year.

Institution members shall neither have voting rights nor the right to propose or second any person for any post or hold any office of the Association.
